Head Coach Brett Oberzan -

Coach Oberzan played and graduated from Lawrence High School. In college he played at Coffeyville C.C. and Emporia State University.   He started coaching at Emporia State University, then went to Blue Valley North high school and continued coaching at Eastbay High School in Tampa, FL.  He came back to Kansas to coach at Free State high school and is now proud to be coaching at Shawnee Mission South!  He has been coaching for 25 years.

During his career his teams have played for a number of championships and he has been a part of some great programs.  He coached in a Shrine Bowl and 4 Metro All-Star games.
